Additional Local Rules for acute care and skilled nursing facility requests go into effect May 1

Effective May 1, 2016, Blue Care Network's Care Management staff will begin implementing additional BCN Local Rules when making determinations on clinical review requests for acute care and skilled nursing facilities. This applies to members with coverage through BCN HMO^SM and BCN Advantage^SM products.

Detailed information about the additional Local Rules will be communicated in April.
