The oncology management program will include Medicare Advantage plans starting Jan. 1, 2020

On Jan. 1, 2020, a utilization management program for medical oncology drugs will begin for Medicare Plus Blue^SM PPO and BCN Advantage^SM members. Providers will need to obtain authorizations from AIM Specialty Health^® for some medical oncology and supportive care medications.

This program became effective for BCN HMO^SM (commercial) members in August 2019.
